New Project Announcement

Towards the end of July I had posted that I had been hit with clarity for my next book in the wee hours of the morning. It has taken some planning and further delving into the story in my head to figure out what it all will come to be.

As of right now, I’m calling the series The Dark in the Light Series. It’s a Dark Steamy Romance set in a small town named Luna Shores. We will get to follow Faith and her husband Jonathan through the trials and tribulations of their nine year relationship. The first nine books will cover those years with the tenth taking place five years later.

I’m not going to get into the really good parts, because, well, I want you to be surprised and of course held in suspense. If I gave everything away then you wouldn’t have as much fun reading the books! What I am going to need from you is some patience, at least to start with. My goal with this series is to do a rapid release. So I’m going to write them, get them edited and covers made, and have over half of them ready to publish prior to releasing any of them so that I can release a book every month. That’s the plan any way, but we all know what they say about best laid plans…

Life happens sometimes, but rest assured that there will be ten books and that they will all be released no matter what. This series has been on my mind for months now and I’ve already gotten the main plot and key points figured out for each of the ten books. Now, I am what you call a pantser, I can have a general idea of what I’m going to write, but no real definite outline. So when I’m writing, a lot of the story comes to me through the process of writing the book. It’s very much like magic to me and it gives me the biggest sense of excitement. There is nothing better than a great idea coming to you when in the midst of writing. Especially when that great idea pulls parts of the story together in a way that hadn’t occurred to you before.

That is yet another reason for me not to divulge too much. Things can shift and change drastically through the writing process. I am so excited for this series, I know it will have something for everyone to love!

I will be keeping you updated on the Dark in the Light series. As of right now, I’m at about 7,000 words written of the first book. I’m already loving so much of it and I know you will too! When I have a better idea of the release date for the first book, I will let you know when it is up for pre-order!
